Holy Bible: Uninvented
Why The Bible Could Not Be Made Up, and The Evidence That Proves It
We’re all familiar with the phrase, “You just can’t make this stuff up!” but few of us would apply it to our Bibles, or even realize we can. The default position of our secular culture is the Bible is made up in whole or in part. Most Christians do not realize this position can be challenged by a simple question: Could it be?
The answer from the secularist is, of course it could! But as you’ll learn in Uninvented, the answer is not so simple. When we read the stories in our Bibles, they don’t read like made up stories, or the myths and legends the critics insist they are.
Did a Dead Guy Really Come Back to Life 2000 Years Ago?
The whole of Christianity and it's validity rests on one simple historical event that we celebrate this Easter weekend, that Jesus of Nazareth was killed and came back to...
What Does It Mean We Are Forgiven From Our Sins? Part 3
In my last post I began to look at an Old Testament take on sin, and it's not a pretty picture. Until we understand the gravity of sin, and its horrific consequences in...
What Does It Mean We Are Forgiven From Our Sins? Part 2
In my previous post I explained how many of us miss what it means that we are forgiven of our sins because we only see it as being forgiven, and that's it. As I said, since...
What Does It Mean We Are Forgiven From Our Sins? Part 1
Every Christian knows that being forgiven from our sins is Christianity 101. But if you ask most Christians what it means to be forgiven from our sins, I would wager that...
Public (Government) Schools Must Be Abolished!
You can tell from the title of this post, that I won't be running for political office anytime soon. What's wrong with public schools? Why would I think they should be...
Is Jesus (i.e., God) Dying for our Sins Strange?
Skeptics are fond of mocking the idea that Jesus Christ had to die for our sins to reconcile us to God. Why can't God, I've heard some of them say, and write, can't God just...

Thank you for visiting my website. For background, I grew up Catholic, for which I am grateful, as it prepared me to receive the truth of God’s word when it was presented to me from a Protestant perspective. Growing up in the Los Angeles area, I went to Arizona State University in 1978, and moved into a dorm room next to two Jesus freaks, as I thought of them at the time. They invited me to a Bible study by asking if I would like to learn what the Bible had to say about who Jesus is.
Because of several things that happened throughout my teenage years (without getting into how God had prepared me for that moment), that was the perfect question to ask me. Despite having gone to church every Sunday for as long as I can remember, hearing readings from and sermons on Scripture, Jesus was an enigmatic figure to me. For whatever reason (and I do not blame the Catholic church or the church we attended), I had not up to that time been given ears to hear or eyes to see. The seeds of God, however, had been adroitly planted by the Holy Spirit in my soul throughout my young life.
